With my first I followed the bradley diet which I think (if I remember right) is a lot like the Brewer diet. I know I read Brewer's book. I ate about 100 grams of protein a day!!! A LOT!!! Gained 60 pounds too!

That said - I felt great before, during and after I had the baby.
With my second I didn't follow the diet so strictly...still felt great. This time I'm just trying to eat healthy...lots of fruits and veggies.
I'll have to pull the book back out and see what it says.
