ive been making my own breast pads, and they are fine but they always turn out all warped around the edges. why is this? now that summer is coming and i will be wearing thinner shirts, i want to make some more that arent all lumpy-warpy. i thought maybe it happened from turning the circlur pad as i sewed, and the threads were pulling but i just made one and tried not to do that and it still turned out all wavey... i want to make some for my friend who is having a shower soon---if i can get them to lay flat. TIA

1. Iron
2. Use a walking foot
The walking foot should make a big difference to the edge -- I don't have any lumpiness in mine at all. Also, I iron them to make them look nicer before I give them as gifts.
