To be posterior or not to be.....

I had an appt with my MW last night. This babe has never really liked all her poking and prodding. But last night after she palpated for baby, she couldn't find the HB with her doppler. She quickly figured out that baby had turned posterior (I could feel it moving around but didn't realize where it was going!). By the time the MW was ready to leave, the little one had turned back out to where it usually is. But after she'd gone, I had a good half an hour of good, painful contrax. I thought for sure we were going to get to meet this one last night. No such luck but I am loosing a lot more mucous plug today. So, my big worry is that this little peanut may turn posterior again.....Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any magical suggestions for sticking this baby where it is and keeping it from turning again???:

My baby keeps turning, too. When she's active, I do loads of pelvic rocks when I'm on all fours. THis gets her into the right position temporarily. Sitting for prolonged periods or driving always makes her turn posterior.

I dunno. My baby turns a lot, too. I would just get on hands and knees as much as you can stand doing it, and avoid sitting back on the sofa (if you are like me that position is terribly uncomfortable anyway!)

My baby is also flip-flopping!! I've been bouncing side to side on the birth ball, having my husband take our sling and cradling my belly when I'm on all 4s and gently moving it side to side, reading while kneeling over the sofa (to attempt to make her "lay in the hammock" of my tum) and wiggling my hips a bit. I find adding all these things to my pelvic rocking has been helping her to be more anterior most of the time, but she keeps wiggling back!

Thanks for the advice! I was hoping to be in labor by now and not have to worry about this!! Of course, I'm still pregnant: .
Off to my hands and knees! Reading while kneeling at the couch sounds like a good idea too. Unfortunately for me, my ribs hurt so bad (like where my diaphragm is) that reclining is more comfortable and sitting up straight or forward hurts! Maybe that's why this baby is moving posterior.:
I guess we'll know for sure when we see if this little one emerges sunny side up or not.
