root canal or pull molar

I have been putting off having a root canal, because I recently read some scary stuff about them from Price. I say "from Price" because all the scary stuff I have read quotes his "research". I don't know if I believe it. Also, if you have the tooth pulled, do you get a bridge or an implant? All 3 options (root canal, bridge, implant) are incredibly expensive and I don't have dental insurance.

On a side note, its the upper molar in front of my wisdom tooth. I've been told that as you age, your teeth move forward. Do you think my wisdom tooth would move forward to fill the gap if I had the bad tooth pulled?

TIA!

Do the root canal. No your wisdom tooth won't move forward to close the space. It will probably tip forward, creating other problems. Bridges don't work well on wisdom teeth.
