Help for dairy allergy baby

I am asking this for a friend. Her baby has horrific allergy to dairy. She has him on formula now and has cut dairy from her diet. She needs to know if there is anything that will help the dairy get out of her system faster. And she needs to have a list of foods that contain dairy protein.

I am hoping one or more of you here will be able to help her since it is killing her not to be able to bfed and seeing her son in so much pain. TIA

From everything I've read, dairy can take 2 to 3 weeks to clear out of your system.

I have included a number of links below. I have titled them all but the first one by Dr. Jack Newman on colic deserves a special mention. He indicates that Pancreatic Enzymes can be used by the mother to assist in the breakdown of the allergenic proteins. In all of my research on allergy related issues with DD1 I never read this. However, he is very well respected and if I had these issues with DD2 I would definitely be looking into it.

By the way, if she is planning on resuming nursing will she be pumping to maintain a supply?
