Which TV shows do you buy on DVD? - Page 4

We have Smallville and some of Friends, and I don't know if this counts, but DH is a huge history/war movie buff (his thing, not mine) and he has and loves the Band of Brothers series.

*Curb your enthusiasm

We just bought the complete second season of Lost off ebay (brand new). We're still watching Season One, rented from the video store. We figured out after renting and watching about half of the first season that we could buy Season Two for just a few dollars more on ebay, with no worries about late fees.

we dont have tv either.

we are collecting all of the seasons of the simpsons.

we rent lost, 24,alias, house... and my dh rents the ghost whisperer... that show is SO bad!!!

We got rid of our cable access after DD was born, so right now we only have the complete West Wing (I got so addicted to it on bravo when pregnant with ds)
and Grey's Anatomy, we have 1 & 2 on DVD and since we're tv-less I treated myself to season 3 on iTunes, and I'm not sure if we'll buy the DVD copy when it comes out.

I'd like to get MASH eventually, but right now I can't justify the cost.

We do have blockbuster online so I usually have the movies mailed to us and then return them to the store for tv show dvd's.

I broke down and finally got Felicity (all 4 seasons.)

I have season one of Everwood (I never really watched the show when it was on) and I'd get more if they had 'em.

We love the West Wing but the thought of trying to buy whole seasons overwhelms me. We do check 'em out of the library. They have LOST at the library, too. I haven't seen all of season one yet, but I need to get busy on that. I checked out a bunch and then fizzled out... I watch the show but I have a few gaps yet to fill in, episodes I missed.

I'd probably buy LOST if I had the chance, just to have the complete picture someday. Depending on how it shapes up.

But Felicity & Everwood are the only full season sets I own.

OK. Any show I mention, we have all available seasons of. And I do watch them over again.
I actually bought the Alias series box set w/o having seen a single episode (b/c I liked Felicity & Victor Garbor) and was Not disappointed. I also bought Firefly, Wonderfalls, and Miracles w/o having seen those either, just based on the creators, executive producers and writers. The others were ones I watched back when I had TV. Um, yeah, I watched a lot of WB in highschool.

Buffy
Angel
Firefly
Dawson's Creek
Roswell
Felicity
Alias
Wonderfalls
Miracles
Once & Again (I need season three! What is wrong with the studio?!!)
Friends
Gilmore Girls
One Tree Hill

Also, The Awful Truth (Michael Moore's show)

what a different a year and a half makes. I need to complete Sex and the City though, I don't have all of the seasons. I have since bought Rome, The Tudors and Lost but all of them off iTunes. It's cheaper than DVD usually and instant gratification. I do want Gilmore Girls and I bought season 1 of American Dreams, they really need to get the rest of it released.

Nice! I don't know anybody else who has seen this. I have the 2 season's episodes on my comp.

The only TV show I have on DVD is The Office (American). I have it on all the time for background noise. It's on right now, actually

I'll also get the complete set of Scrubs when available.

Okay, just as I was thinking that this is a really weird thing to do, I realized that I've caught myself on more than one occasion talking about Jim and Pam as if they are not only real people, but people I know.
