shower! and now my freezer's full!

We had a fun family shower this weekend with friends. Since this is our second baby, instead of people bringing onesies and washclothes, they all brought food for our freezer!

We now have a fully stocked freezer, and I can stop worrying about trying to cook twice as much of everything (and then get it to the freezer before we eat it!).

Ok baby, now you can show up

That is a great shower idea!! Lucky you! I have been doing the doubling up thing...

But also living in a small Jewish community has it's perks. We all take care of each other, and everyone sends over food for the first couple of weeks when someone has a baby. Very much looking forward to that

We're doing that for my shower too! I have until Feb. 2 to clean out the stupid thing so we have room!

I asked specifically for a freezer party this time around. I haven't heard anything from my mom about when she was planning it, so I really hope she hasn't forgotten.
