We're a family of 3, Hannah, Joey and Aya, 1.5 years. We moved from Aya's birthplace and our home of 8 years to Heidelberg, Germany in December 2002. We had wanted to experience living in another country for years and, as a last resort, my husband took a job for the US army...urg. This, a language barrier (I'm learning German, but slowly) and a new culture have been a challange.
I'm taking comfort in Mothering and talking to old friends but I'd love to meet some other mothers in a similar situation.
