Yes

I read what I posted in an online mag or something. I think this is a question we should all be asking right now.

Aw, thanks Inspired!

Anyone else have a crippling fear of mc? I know that things get particularly juicy down there in the first trimester, but I swear, anytime I feel any sort of "gooshiness", I'm running to the bathroom to wipe.

I know I'm paranoid because I've had a previous mc, but I need to know how I can possibly get over this to enjoy my pg. I've wanted to be pg for a long, long time and I feel like all I'm doing is stressing over it.

Help.

There are a few people that I wouldn't normally tell this early that I told because they really needed to know in order to plan their lives and replace me for comitments I for October. I totally think you did the right thing. Better to be safe and protect your precious cargo.

I would just say, focus on what you WANT, instead of what you don't want. Don't focus on miscarriage. Focus on your healthy, strong baby; on your capable, smart body doing everything just right, on this being your time and space for this pregnancy, for this child, who is growing so big and strong and happy . . . etc etc. I am big on pregnancy affirmations, they made a huge difference for me.

In the end, besides thinking positive thoughts and making healthy lifestyle choices, there is nothing else you can do anyway. So try to just relax and do things you enjoy.

So bloated right now. Uck.

Me too, LTB -- but that has more to do with the big lunch and several glasses of lemonade I just had.

OK, now I'm getting very impatient for an Oct DDC. I lurk in the Sept DDC and man! I'm so jealous. Maybe if we each start a thread in this forum asking for an Oct DDC, they will notice us. I know it's more work for the already busy mods to do -- it's too bad they can't set it to automatically start a new forum. Or just have 12 DDCs, one for each month, without the year. A three-month gap should be enough to avoid overlap, right? We'll all be moved on to an Oct babies thread by then.

I was wondering how many posts it would take to get a DDC. It would be nice to have different threads for different things.
I don't think it is a post thing. I think its a matter of the adminstrators getting around to it. September had 37 posts before they got their due date club. We have well over 200!
We could try going ahead and posting in the Oct 2006 DDC. Maybe if enough moms there complain, we'll get an Oct 2007 DDC. OK, not really fair to them, but they should be in Life with a Babe, anyway.
I put up a request in the suggestions and questions forum. You can't see it as they are invisiable until a mod lets it be seen. I didn't know who exactly to contact so I went that route.

Anyone else think this is getting a bit ridiculous?

I'm in the Oct 2006 forum because my three month old was born last October.

I am ready for our own club.

I am also worried about miscarriage but I am staying positive. Either way I am loving my new bellybean and looking forward to each step.

You know, I saw your name in there, too -- probably as the person who last replied to the thread -- and I thought, maybe Oct people are already posting here!

ETA: That was directed at LTB -- Karen was too quick and posted before I replied! This kind of tragic miscommunication would never had happened if we had our own DDC.

Peeking in from the September 2007 club. I PMed the due date clubs moderator to ask for a DDC. That's how we got ours so 'early'.

We've done that -- she's replied on our thread already, on page 4 or so, saying she can't get it (I assume you mean Chanley?), but has contacted those who can.

We have the same due date!! We are slowly telling family and friends already...I couldn't wait. I am making a T-shirt for DS (16 months) that says "Big Brother in Training" I found some Iron on Transfers at Walmart that I can run through our printer. We'll see how it turns out. We're going to a family gathering this afternoon that I'm hoping for him to wear it too...
I love that idea!! So cute! Did he wear the shirt? How did it go?

I was in the Sept 2007 DDC (I miscarried) and it took awhile to get our own forum. I can't imagine it would be too much longer! That will help a lot, so many conversations going on already!

so glad this is up!

I am so glad someone started this thread!
We are pregnant with #4. Due date Oct. 17th.
We are very excited about this pregnancy as we lost our last baby at 32 weeks.
Look forward to seeing who else is expecting!

Ugh.

I've had 2. The last one was just so.... painful and gory. I'll spare everyone the details. But, yeah. Scared doesn't really cover it.
