Since I have a paid subscription to MDC I'm using the one here. It's in my sig. I try to have at least one entry every day, and I almost always include photos or links with each entry.

Is Isa wearing babylegs in that shot of her on your blog? I am obsessed with them (see DD in my avatar!), but I don't remember ever seeing that pattern! I LOVE it!

What is the deal?!? With DD#1 we didn't have any problems until just recently and she's 2 1/2! I hate them now. I bought Huggies last night, but I am hoping once the new prefolds I ordered get here I can once again ditch paper dipes. I HATE them! Argh!:

Huggies leaked for us. But then again I have boys. I've always heard people liking them who have girls. That's what I used as a nanny and they never leaked. But with Ryan, always.
I tried 8 different brands of disposables. I liked Nature Boy/Girl and CVS Ultra-Soft Stretch (their regular store brand) best.
We used fitteds first and even with covers I had to change them ALL THE TIME.
Of course once I figured out wraps & prefolds I was very happy. : But again it might be a boy thing!

I didn't like Huggies for my girl while we travelled. We've actually ended up liking Albertsons/Acme store brand Supreme.

Krista, do I remember that you use Little Lambs? I just bought some on the trading post & am having lots of pee leaks. Any hints?

Yep, I have lots. And I find a big difference between the dipes made by the owner herself (good) pre-2004 and the ones made when she hired help (not so good) later.
Plus the snap-in soakers she provide don't absorb too well. You have to use the hemp ones, or add an extra hemp doubler with the snap-in, or just use a pre-fold and a hemp doubler and forget the snap-ins. Experiment to see which works for you. For boys you HAVE to add the doubler up front. So I assume for girls you'd need it in the middle.
Also, do you have prints or plain? The prints wick more.
The one-size diapers seem to work the best (though not as cute). I can even still cram A.J. into them on the largest setting, and he can go hours without a leak, even overnight.
If you want to see how I assemble mine I can snap a few photos to post.

ot- little lambs

Mine are plain colors (still cute!) & they look brand new. I think they're OS cause they have snaps on the back, but even @ 5 months, I have it unsnapped for Erin.

Since the leg "gussets" have the little "ruffle" (for lack of better words) of fleece on the outside, I guess I don't know how I can prevent it from wicking. KWIM?

Sorry to hijack thread!

We have one but it's password only for family/friends only. We both happen to work for the big G so we're afraid of our lives being indexed forever. I've found posts that I've made on this board while searching on our son's name and for the blog we just didn't want to have to censor ourselves and still keep our privacy.

blairinargentina - I have those Babylegs too. We have similar taste!
