Sometimes when my son is nursing, milk comes out of his nose. It seems like it is usually when he is gulping pretty good and the milk is flowing fast. We have had a lot of problems with BF---poor latch and low supply among other things. This didn't start until he was 5 and a 1/2 months old though. He is now 7 months old. I have been having a lot of trouble lately with him sucking his lower lip in while nursing... and I've wondered if that was part of it. Mostly its just weird... but it does bother him and he will come off the breast and cry.

Has anyone heard of this or had this experience? What causes it?
