Personally I never buy wonder bread. DH only eats rye and I usually like sourdough. However a friend came up to visit and make me lunch a few days ago because I am hugely pregnant (due today), which was wondefully kind. She brought up this whole wheat wonderbread with her and left it for us to eat. I can't bring myself to eat it plain, as toast or for a sandwich. I'm wondering if anyone has a recipe that would use sliced bread. I guess I'm thinking like a casserole or a bread pudding or something. It's taking up a lot of room in my fridge right now and I'd like to use it up before I get fed up and just toss it. Like I said Dh won't eat it, and I already have a full loaf of sourdough that I prefer. Thanks for any ideas.
