My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Well, I guess I'll share my experience first. I found that there were two main things that caused me to be very depressed #1 lack of sleep. Which, unfortunately, cannot be helped w/ some of us since we don't have extra help. And the other is nutrition. I was eating all of the wrong foods & not taking the necessary supplements which sent me into a downward spiral. I was amazed to see the difference when I would force myself to nap when my dd did and when I ate a meal rich in brain food. It was a life saver.

I agree completely with the proper nutrition thing. Eating right does make a heck of a difference, as well as getting out and exercising a few days a week. There was a study once that compared using Zoloft to daily exercise and each had about the same effect, except that the people that excercised did not relapse. Of course nobody ever hears about it b/c companies want you to buy their drugs. Here's a link to that:

I also take a lot of fish oil. I use Berry Frutol, which I mix up in juice. At first I thought it tasted like blueberry minnows, but now i kind of like it.
Extra B vitamins are good, too.
