Glad you could join our little group!

Assignment #1
Your first assignment is to go to www.cindysporch.net and print out her kitchen inventory lists. (If the links don't work, you can just type the URL into your address bar. Or you can just use a pen and a notebook.) Make sure you print out the fridge one, the freezer one and the cupboards one, and that you print out enough for your situation. (For instance, I needed a fridge sheet, 2 freezer sheets and 3 cupboard sheets when I did this in my kitchen.)

Go into your kitchen cupboards, your fridge, your pantry, your deep freeze, your basement shelves, anywhere you store food, and write down ALL the food you have in your home (types and amounts. For instance: corn- tinned: 3, corn- frozen: 2 bags)

See you back here when you've finished with your assignment.

The link works for me. Maybe try it again?

Oh . There's not a time limit, is there?

(I have a pantry downstairs that's at least 8x8ft, a small chest freezer and our giant fridge/freezer, it'll take me a while.)

No time limit

I plan to post the next assignment on Monday, so take your time.

For this assignment, being thorough is more important than finishing quickly.

Subbing and printing out the list.

No problem with the thorough thing, it's just the quantity or items we've got... I have the awful tendency like my depression-era grandmothers to sorta stockpile food... At least now I've got it down to food we *actually* eat and go through rather than random un-used things, and my stash isn't near as large as theirs (I've only got an extra 4 cubic foot freezer, they each had 2-5 extra stand up freezers).
