Is that just normal discharge or is it moucos plug slowly coming out or what???? Its weird! also I have been having cramps for the past couple days could it be some sort of infection? maybe labor coming soon???? What do you ladies think?

Sounds like some mucus plug action too me... I have been on the look out for mine but have yet to see anything. Hopefully labor will start for you really soon!!! Good Luck!

Definitely the plug and some cervical change for sure! I have been losing my plug for a few weeks now (I just learned it can regenerate! Who knew?) but I am sure you are on the road to labor! Good luck!

I just came on here to post about this mucous plug. I think I lost mine this morning. But, I'm not ready for baby to come yet:
Seriously, I need another weekend! Anyway, my sister said she thinks she heard from her doctor before that after the mucous plug, you can expect the baby within 4-6 days. Anyone else heard mucus plug rumors?

I had DD 5 days exactly after losing mine- sounds like a good average to me

I lost mine last night! :

With #2 I lost it over 3 days then had him. With #3 I lost it about a week before. I have been losing it this time, as I said, over 2 weeks now. Guess this time will be the exception!

I had a dream last night that I lost bits of mine... does that count? (IRL, nothing at all...)

I went into labor pretty quick after losing mine. I had no idea. It was after a dr. appt. and i just thought the doc used way too much lube during my vaginal exam. When i went into labor they asked me if i lost it and i said "it wasn't lube?" They looked at me like i was an idiot I was a first time mom! I had no idea!:

Congrats! It sounds like it won't be long!

so i lost parts of my mucous plug and im still waiting....................uuuggghhhh I hope this happens quick, tomorrow I go to the doc and he wants to schedule an induction for this week sometime!

Sending labor vibes to you. From your sig it looks like you have an 18 month old? Was he early, late, on his due date? Both of mine came at exactly 39 weeks so I'm thinking this one may too. As far as induction goes, can't you just refuse it unless it is absolutely medically necessary?

I had my son 1 day before his dd, I could and prabably will refuse it I just feel like there has to be a reason the doc wants to induce me although he hasnt really given me one yet?!?! we will see what he says tomorrow!

Definitely ask that question, unless he can give you a medical reason then why induce before your due date? Not to say that your doctor is this way but lots of doctors schedule inductions for their convenience. They like to have a medically managed birth and have you started and finished within 12 hours.

It sounds like your body is getting ready to start things on its own so hopefully things will get going soon. I definitely understand the fatigue and pains that the end of pregnancy bring.
