Sign at our Library

I had DS in the library today to choose some books. I took him into the bathroom near the children's books to chan ge him, and this sign was posted prominently:

Nursing Mothers:
Please feel free to nurse anyhwere in this library. If you would prefer a more comfortable chair, we welcome you to use our staff lounge.

I thought it was great - more bathrooms should have signs like that so that noone ever feels like they need to hide in a bathroom to feed their babe!

I've had a fantasy since my dd was born to one day own a business and post a sign like that somewhere.

That is so cool! I wonder if people complained about the bathroom being occupied before they put up the sign. I would love to pull up a chair and read while feeding my babe!

When I saw the title of the post I thought it was going to be about a sign telling moms to go hide while they nurse. What a nice surprise to read what the sign really said!

That is awsome. The Target here has a similar sign. You see it when you sit on the bench in the bathroom. (can't figure out why the bench is there but who cares, it is i ntended for nursing )
