decrease in movements?

I have hardly felt my baby at all today and its had me a little worried! Is it generally a cause for concern? I have been more active today (running lots of errands, cleaning) but I didn't get my normal morning kicks and was nervous right away. A few times today I laid down (being on my back almost always wakes her up) and poked at her and she didn't react. I felt like I was grabbing her foot and shaking it, but she didn't move it away! I know being more active can "rock her to sleep" so that could be part of it. And I have felt a few thumps and wiggles since I've settled down at the computer, but its still not as much. Is this okay? Is she just entitled to have a lazy day?

Not in your DDC, but just wanted to reassure you - towards the end of the PG, baby just doesn't have as much space to wriggle around and kick and punch. You should be fine.

Try drinking some OJ and laying down on your left side if you're worried. Baby should perk right up!

Heeey I like that answer! I nested like crazy today. And did a *lot* of errands without getting worn out. Seriously, the amount of time on my feet walking around various stores would have NEVER happened any other day this week. Or last week.

I just screamed at my husband because he was doing something only mildly annoying and the baby nearly jumped out... you could always try that if the orange jiuce doesn't work! ... but seriously I think my bub has slowed down a little and its more to do with space running out. Hope it happens for you soon

I'm having less movement overall, but when s/he moves--very noticeable!
