I gave birth to a beautiful little girl on Saturday at home. It was amazing. My first child was a 26 hour difficult labour with complications that ended us up in the hospital (unplanned). This time, my labour was 5 hours total, and if I dare say, relatively easy. About 45 minutes of active labour and 20 minutes of pushing (which even in itself seemed easy in comparrison). No rips, no tears, minimal bleeding afterwards. She weighed almost exactly what my son weighed at birth, 8lbs 8oz, and was identical in length 21 inches.
I still can't get over the difference between birth. It was amazing!!! She's a nursaholic, but sleeps good so can't complain.
We named her Saffron.

My youngest dd is called Saffron too so obviously I think it's a beautiful name.
