That I am pregnant again, and if I have any say in the matter, I would not like to have twins again.

Thank you for your time! :

And also, if I have any say in the matter, I'd prefer not to get as ginormous as a barn this time. (I don't know who I'm talking to. God? Hahahaha.)

Congratulations! Sending {{{{{singleton vibes}}}}} you way.

Congratulations!

I can definitely understand your sentiment. I am thoroughly enjoying my "just one" baby. I did end up getting *almost* as big with him (48 cm fundal height) because I had a ton of extra fluid and he weighed 10 lbs., 9.5 oz with an enormous placenta. But I wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as I was at the end of the twin pregnancy.

Just so you all know, I'd be happy if I found out I were having trips, quads, whatever -- I'd just PREFER one. And I know I have no say in the matter.

Congrats! I have no idea if I'd want to have twins again. I'm just praying, universe, PLEASE, let us get this first batch out safe and sound.

Congrats! I totally relate to your sentiments . . . I am actually (very occassionally) envious of women who have one baby at a time.

Congratulations! And I *totally* get this sentiment. I was trying to explain to my oldest friend (who has a delightful and easy 6 mo singleton) that if I heard a good friend was having twins, I'd actually be a little sad for her... and I think she saw I was a horrible person. But I am just now starting to get into a groove with my twins and older son, and I do think those first months (well, first 15 months for me), when they have sooooo many needs, well, they just don't and can't get as much from their mama and daddy as a singleton. The last few months have started to be fun, though, and our life is already so much richer for all of our kids, including our twins, but I still don't know that I'd wish twins on anyone...yet?

So -- I am very happy to hear you are having JUST one.

Congrats and may all your wishes come true!

If I ever get pregnant again, I will be wishing the same thing.
