I just realized that I havn't selected any music for the birth. I'm not usually into the super relaxing nature type music so I have no idea what to look for. What is everyone else using?

I've got my MP3 player loaded with everything from Kanye to Mozart to Tori Amos. I have no idea what I will want, so I just put a big enough variety to cover all the bases!

I'm like MotheringMe. I have over 300 sounds loaded into a playlist that I've been compiling for the last 6 months. I have James Taylor, Van Morrison, James Blunt, Grateful Dead, Phish, Widespread, Black Label Society, JayZ, The Pussycat Dolls, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Destiny's Child, Daniel Powter, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Green Day, Gloria Gaynor, Louie Armstrong, Ray Charles, Pearl Jam, Paul Simon and many, many more.

I love Transiberian Orchestra (sp?). Classical, but still loud enough to drown out the blipping machines

I remember bringing a stack of CD's to my birth the last time (Enya was several of them!) but we didn't play any of them. I love music but I just didn't feel like having any going. I guess I should decide on something here so I can pull it out of the stack and have it ready... (Still living in the dark ages w/o MP3 player... )
