Good News... nb intact

Thread Starter
I had my ds3 last Tues, I had decided I was not going to circ and my dh was a bit miffed. I posted about that back in Nov after our U/S should another boy.
Well, Tue evening my dh said something again about circ. I said no I had no plans to circ this baby, but I have the name and # of a Moleh (spelled wrong I'm sure), if he wanted to check into it. He didn't ask. He mentioned something about when would he get circ'd then and I said when he was old enough to decide for himself that he wanted to be. DH replied no guy in their right mind would do it... DUH...

And to ease my dh I told him, you know when he is older and does have an errection it will look just like yours.

SO, end of story, I have an intact son. And our family doc didn't even touch it at his appt yesterday, just checked the testicles. I was watching very carefully.

My parents have noticed his intactness and support the decision. Funny b/c I distinctly remember my dad thinking it was good that my other sons were circ'd. My dad actually believes circiing is barbic and horribly cruel. I did get the details that my dad went in at 11 yrs old under GA to be retracted this would have been 1951. And he said something about his dad having the same problem... I don't know exactly how docs used to do things, but I'm going to guess this was part of the times...??? I'm certainly not going to worry about it.

I have noticed something beneficial to foreskin... cold air does not result in pee flying everywhere during a diaper change. Ds3 is 8 days old and has not wizzed pee during a diaper change. He also does not seem to mind diaper changes either.

If only I had stood up for my first born, b/c I never wanted it then either...
