I am positively gitty about Lost tonight. We ordered chinese to go with it. It's a party!!

I had no idea there were 2 episodes tonight!! I thought the new one was starting at 7, and I put ds to bed and it was quarter to seven, and I'm trying to WILL him to sleep (he's only 2....). It was quarter past when I left him, so I was quite excited to turn on the tv and see a 'recap' hour!!!

GREAT episode...........won't say more, I'll let every time zone catch up!

I was a little disappointed in the recap show...but it did help since I missed the last episode before Cmas...helped fill in gaps.

and I think the new episode wasnt quite as mysterious as all the rest have been...not so many hidden innuendoes.

I figure they have to start out slow in the first couple of new episodes. I wasn't hanging on the edge of my seat...I was able to knit through most of it which I usually can't do because I need to be paying 100% attention! But I'm so, SO glad the new episodes are here.

Wow, I absolutely LOVED it. The scene when they got Carl pretty much says it all about whatever type of village they are living in. How many of them are on the island and want to get off like Juliette? And obviously, who is Jacob? "God loves you as he loved Jacob" sent total chills through out my body! I love this show so much!

Good episode; I think the actress who plays Juliet is so talented. Interesting to see her backstory, and this episode actually answered some more questions, it seems, than some of the other ones in the past (which I've read is the producers' intent this season). I'll be excited to see what's happening with the original Losties though, Claire and Hurley and Charlie and the rest of them back on the big island.

And just think...fifteen more brand new episodes right in a row!

In the last episode ("I do") Pickett says that Shepard was not on Jacob's list, so I assume it is someone in real life. Why the past tense though?

Who was that other guy with him though, was that Goodwin? There were so many people when he was on I can't remember what he looked like.

I almost feel for Juliette now, you could tell when they came back for her in the morgue that she was really unsure about them and didn't trust them. I wonder how they made her go with them.

How/why does Ben have the key to letting people go back home. Is there really a magical "door" that lets people leave? One that people haven't found after living there for many years.

Juliette impregnating that male animal and then doing whatever with here sister kinda creeped me out though. What was so miraculous about her sister getting pg, it seemed to be more than just an IVF type thing.

The man with him was Albert Hofmann, a recruiter for a bio-tech company. We never saw him before.

I assume her sister had some life threatening illness (potentially related to cancer) that prevented her from ever concieving. Perhaps she had no uterus like any male animal. Hopefully we will learn more.

if i remember correctly it's a Biblical passage? could be wrong.
Jacob was the father of the 12 tribes in the Old Testment. he was renamed Israel.

I assume Alex has no idea that Danielle is her mother. Ben is Alex's father, but as far as we know it is not biological.

i think it's weird that her name is still alex. that means either she was old enough to say it, or they knew it. but why didn't they change it?
