True. I flew while I was in the latter part of my second trimester. No one asked me anything at the gate or on the plane. Granted I didn't look very pregnant though. I just look like I had one too many cheeseburgers!

I was under the impression Claire was on the flight to LA to give the baby up. The psychic sent her, yeah?

No. She was ready to sign adoption papers in Australia and her pen wouldn't work. So the guy(lawyer?) gave her another one that I think also didn't work. She got another pen, hesitated and then said she couldn't do it. This was after she had seen the psychic at least once. He was very adament that SHE raise the baby, that she HAD to be the one to do it. After she said she couldn't give him up, she went back to the psychic. He was "sending" her to LA, but I really think he is part of the whole Dharma thing and knew that the plane would crash on the island.

Yes, but he was sending her to LA under the pretenses of arranging for her to meet a couple to adopt the baby. He knew about the crash though, and this was the only way to get her to raise her baby, and he was the one who was very admamant about her raising the baby because of some vision.

there have been theories that the psychic lied to her about the parents just to get her on the plane. it was odd b/c he first said she MUST raise the child then changed his mind at the last minute. people have speculated he foresaw the crash and wanted her on the plane.

of course, we later saw he was a fake in an eko flashback.

Yeah, but how much of what the psychic says can we take as a real "vision"? I mena,he freely admitted to Eko that he was a fraud... so should we still believe that he "saw" the crash and wanted Claire on that plane??

Oh I know, but my point was that Claire was going to give her baby to an adoptive couple in LA because of what he told her.

Really it could go eaither way. It would be pretty cliche for a TV fraud psychic to have one REAL experience (think Ghost ) or it could be that he lied to Eko.

In any case i think the Christian Shephard theory is very interesting.

I've seen it already too. It's pretty good. I totally guessed who was coming out of the box. Although, it's kind of predictable. I feel sorry for Locke. He's gone through some rough stuff. If I was him I'd want to stay on the island forever too. Well, maybe not now. I think a lot of people are going to be angry with him!

I thought it was great! I have to admit that I read all the spoilers on it before I watched it, but I still thought it was great. I am so happy to know exactly how Locke was paralyzed, and I thought it was very surprising that Locke's dad was there. I cannot wait to see more about that...how did he get there, when did he get there, how long has he been there...so many questions! I love it!

Next week is supposed to be a big one for some mythological answers...I cannot wait to see it!
