Camden Michael was born yesterday, January 30th, at 12:20pm. He weighed 5 pounds and 15 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. His apgars were 8 and 9...he was rather blue at one minute, but he pinked up quickly. The labor and delivery were a pure DREAM. I only had about one hour of really bad pain before pushing ONCE to deliver him. I am feeling awesome - the best I have in nine months - NO MORE NAUSEA!! Yay! I didn't tear and have only a few "abrasions" which didn't need stitching.
Camden wanted to nurse immediately and has done really well so far - the only issue we're having is that he is a major sleepy head and he wants to drift off after a few minutes. He wants to be swaddled and he loves to be cuddled.
We thought he would look just like his big brother, but funny thing is, he looks nothing like him. DS #1 is the spitting image of DH as far as looks go...except he did get my curly hair. We all think Camden looks more like me.
