Anyone else have "brown-ish" discharge / is it normal?

Anyone else have this, or know what it means? I've had it for a few weeks now. It's very slight and I only notice it when wearing light undies. It's not like a real significant amount or anything, just more of a "tinge" of brown on my undies (TMI, I know). I have taken to wearing panty liners and I would defintely say there is a very slight "brownish" color to it by the end of the day. It's not "bloody" or anthing, but I can't think of what else it could be. It is similar to the discharge I used to get a few days after my period would end - very slight brownish, like old dried blood, but a scarce amount.

I mentioned it to my midwife at my 29 week appt, (I'm now 32 wks). She didn't seem concerned at all and kind of shrugged it off as no big deal. But I can't find anything that says this is normal!!!!

Any ideas anyone, or anyone else have this?

Kathy.

this is pretty normal as long as you have no signs of infection. You could be beginning to lose your mucus plug as well. This can happen weeks before labor so no worries...

It can be normal for sure. Your lovely cervix is changing all the time and sometimes the tiny capilaries(blood vessels) can break. Then a later on that blood shows up as the brownish color. It can happen for lot of different reasons, like, sex, internal checks, baby bashing their head into your cervix :

Anyways as long as there is no foul smell I wouldn't worry about it.
