TTC 6+ Months February Support Thread - Page 2

So I'm going through FF's chart gallery to see how my chart compares to others and I found a chart with a positive hpt at 5dpo. How the h@!! do you get a positive hpt at 5dpo? That's just wierd. (No, I'm not going to test. That's nuts... and clearly she has worse self control than our lovely Teneal who is a POAS-a-holic, but it paid off, so who knows...)

ETA: maybe it has something to do with the clomid? There seem to be a lot of charts with positives well before 10 dpo. That's still just wierd to me!

Christy With Kamryn I got a + at 6 dpo. It is weird tho........my hormone levels were super high and they thought she had Down's Syndrome (she didn't appear to have it but since she was not alive they couldn't get the cells to grow to be sure she didn't have it).
It didn't snow much here but EVERYONE freaks out so badly and they rush out to the grocery store to empty the shelves there. Almost like their going to be stuck in their homes for a month or something. AND you are correct, if it's not 100% rain, muck, dirt, whatever free people here drive like their going to fly off the road into space (they drive terrible). I hate that they ALL stay in the passing lane no matter how fast or slow their going. OK, off my soap box. hehe. I hope that you don't need the clomid, and I agree that if you do, then you probably needed to go to 100mg. YAY! good for you!

hi everyone. I've been lurking for a while now, and am wondering if I might join you? We've reached and passed the six month mark...again. Never thought we'd have to go through it twice. I'm on my second round of clomid now, waiting to O. Last cycle I conceived, but it was a chemical. I'm hoping that maybe we'll get super lucky again. We conceived dd and a lost twin the first go round in 05.

You guys seem like a great group, and a bit more understanding than those who haven't been here.

Sarahjen: I'm starting to consider abraham hicks. My MIL is big into it(and energy healing...i've done that.) and it works wonders for her. God knows I need something.

I know some of you from the one thread, so HI!

I hope february sees all of our dreams fulfilled.

Hi jillybeans. I am sorry to hear about your loss and chemical pregnancy, which must have been really hard. I hope you are not here too long and this round of clomid works for you.

Woops, nevermind, looking at Tenk's chart!

OH MY GOSH, your little Grace is absolutely adorable!!!!!

Jilly HI!!! I get a giggle everytime I read your name....I LOVE IT! Glad you decided to join us, and I hope you get that egg right away!!! GL

thanks for the warm welcome guys. And lily, dd is one of those darling, but devilish, children. She's got her momma's fire.

This is one of those threads that you love, but really hope you can get out of soon, huh?

Welcome jilly, sorry to see you here, glad to see you here! Re LoA/A-H, there's some good stuff in the spirituality forum, and the link that Tara/Val posted for the Secret is good too.

Wow, 5 DPO ??? That is not going to help me survive the 2WW. I just ordered another batch of tests from saveontests.com, and even with all those lying around 5dpo is just too early. Well I am glad to know there is someone out there who tests even earlier than me

Hi Tricia ! How's things on the other side of the rainbow ? Are those babies treating you ok ?

Crystal, I hope things are going ok at home. If it helps, think about those lost hours being traded for priceless family time.

omg.. I couldnt figure out what you were talking about

thanks

Hi there, everyone! No news, but thought I should stop by. Speaking of news, who is furthest along in the 2ww? When is our next collective chance for a BFP??? Speak up if you 8+ dpo, please, so I can start chart-stalking!

Thanks to Crystal for the lovely thread! My chart works. FF doesn't work - still being stubborn about my crosshairs... but the link works.

Jilly - Welcome, but hope you're outta here soon. And sorry for your loss.

angel: Thanks. We started trying again in June.
ocean: Thanks to you too. It was hard i think because we have such limited cycles on the clomid. If i was a normal fertile woman(ya right, huh?) then a chemical wouldn't have hurt so much.

I'm having a hard time pulling myself up this month. Anyone else get super downer months like that?
Good morning

Jilly I have a lot of ups and downs and a lot of anxiety lately about all of this.

Elk I think that would be Christy and Tara

It's so quiet around here when everyone is between CD1 and 10ish. I'm still hanging out waiting to O, debating whether or not I want to see another pale pathetic line on an OPK today.

everyone else...

I'm going to show incredible faith in my body. Today is 7dpo and I'm not going to temp again until I test. My test day is the 10th, so that's a week from tomorrow. The constant temping isn't going to be helpful to my sanity and since my new job starts Monday, my wakeup time will change (I get a whole extra hour to sleep!) making my temps questionable anyway. I will probably start adding symptoms of whatever, though even though I'm convinced that it's all the clomid. So unfortunately, there won't be much to stalk. Sorry.

Good morning all, I don't really feel like personals today....sorry!

We recently discovered that our middle child (she's 6) has started having hearing problems again. About 1.5 years ago she had them, and it scared me so badly then we had tubes put in and all was well. The tubes are still in and she is now struggling to hear us talk to her again. It breaks my heart when I talk to her and she has no clue I'm even talking to her. She is the same one that has had Pnumonia 2 times in the last 6 weeks and just gets terribly sick when she gets it. She also has Celiac Disease (allergy to wheat and gluten) and all I keep thinking about is what's going to happen if she goes deaf........I mean hearing everything one min to hearing only some things and then to hearing NOTHING........she would just cry and it would break my heart into little pieces. UGH, I'm sorry for being such a downer this morning.

fingers crossed for those in the 2ww, GL to those gearing up to O. and hi to everyone.

Good Morning Ladies!

SarahJen - Good Luck with the OPKs! Hope you O soon.

Christy- I always want to stop temping then, good for you!

Oceanmommy - Have fun Oing.:

Tenk - I will be sending positive thoughts for your little girl.

Jillybeans - Welcome! I am new to this thread too. Everyone is so wonderful and welcoming here!

Hello to everyone else!

AF found me today. It really sucked on FF to see Cycle 12 up there. I can't believe I am on month 12!!!! I expected AF so I am not as down as usual. DH and I had a what now talk yesterday. We both had very little to say, we just don't know where to go from here. My 12th cycle starts on my son's 12th birthday! So I am happy for that! Can't believe I have a 12 year old! Next year I will have a teenager: Maybe the universe is trying to tell me I can't handle teenagers and diapers! I think I will prove to the universe that I can.

Thank you Haw-K I talked with my mom and she seems to think that maybe DD just needs tubes put in for a 2nd time. Sometimes they need to keep them (tubes fall out) in to keep the fluid out so that it's not deflecting their sound waves. I feel a tad better now.

Christy - This sounds like a terrific plan. I have stopped temping for the last week some months (or actually had a month where I didn't temp at all because I was traveling so much), and it really did make that time less stressful. Congrats on the new job, too!

Tenk - I will be sending my best wishes to your daughter and to you and dh as you try to figure out what is going on and how you can best help her. It must be really scary to see these changes and not be sure what is going on. And it is good that you know about the celiac! My mil wasn't diagnosed until she was 50 and her health has improved so much since she's gone gluten-free.

Haw-k - Sorry she found you. I'm sure this month 12 milestone is a hard one. Here's hoping that you don't see 13, though. And I loved the comment about proving the Universe wrong!

This is my first multi-quote post. I'm so proud.
