When the baby's head goes down?

I am curious what did it feel like to you when your baby's head went down?

We were out shopping tonight and walking around and I felt a strange feeling on my pelvic bone and I really had a hard time walking. I ended up waddling. When I went to get in the car I couldn't lift my leg with out discomfort. It now feels like something is grinding on it when I walk, lay, sit or even stand. I am not to worried just wanted to discuss it with others.

Also how do you deal with the discomfort? Thanks in advance.

That feeling is about right on. As for how to deal with the discomfort, I find it comforting to walk with both hands under my belly and hold it Of course I look very funny doing this. They also have like matnerity support undies, which can help for a little while, but they are uncomfy. Mostly, I know this is hard to think of, but just be thankful that you have a head down baby. Everytime that you feel that little head grind into your pelvis and make you have to pee, think, there are woman out there who are in very odd postions trying to get their baby head down. Oh and I really found that doing squats and sitting on a birth ball helped. It kinda makes the head go down more but then it also gives you more room. Being in water helps, at least it did for me, a lot also.
