Me too. I actually want to be a shelver. :

But sometimes I think maybe I could deal with the public in a library.

Still reading and quoting (how does this thread move SO fast? , but I just wanted to check in.

I feel happy. I'm not really buzzing, but...I'm content. Ideas are coming to me. I'm not struggling with anything, even though a few things have happened in the last few days that a year ago, would have had me very down.

I have a couple of LOA related books out from the library: The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, and also The World is Flat: A Brief History of The Twenty-First Century by Thomas L. Friedman. I'm pretty sure I found that on Amazon through "related links" while looking at LOA books, so I think it might be somewhat related to LOA. I'll read it and let you know.

Hmm...not much else going on. Still working on organizing my thoughts for my photography career. Next step: Get an appointment book. I can't get any appointments without an appointment book, right?

I Totally Agree! Of course, I don't even look at the caller ID anymore. I just don't answer.

Along the lines of being hermits I do have to say that I am hosting not one, not two, but THREE home parties this month.

I'm doing them for a friend and she's doing one for me. I sooooo don't like them, but it's only friends coming so it'll be more like a playdate than anything. AND, I"m manifesting $$$ out of them! (For my friend and myself.)

So, I"m stepping out of my box. Hula and Shannon, you can do it too!

Same here...there's two people in the world I'm comfortable talking to on the phone.

thanks for the welcome. please forgive me if i post sporadically. i think it's been mentioned before that this thread moves fast

annikate i think it was you that asked about virgos--they tend to be detail oriented and that makes them like to plan. i think it would be an out of balance virgo that wouldn't take action. my dh and ds2 are both virgos. ds is one of those that gets frustrated if he can't do something perfectly the first time, and that prevents him from enjoying new things, despite lots of detailed planning. working on that.

It is beautiful!!! I love it and would love to come over, sit down on your nice new couch, relax, drink a cup of tea, and chat. (Preferably while my kiddos stayed home with my dh. )

Thank you! oh yes tea, I love tea! I still need to get one of those electric tea pots everyone raves about.

I'm having the best day! Got a +opk and so got busy making our new babe, my couch arrived and some clothes I ordered from India came and dh put my artwork up in the living room so I feel all transformed. I love this new life we have created since we moved to Arizona.

This post was so wonderful! What an awesome realization, I can't wait to hear how it turns out! I also at the "creating a new life just because I'm bored" part

Annikate (What's your first name, by the way? I feel like I used to know it but don't anymore) - What was the book you said helped you get in touch with your Inner Spirit? Every morning I spend a lot of time in that "in between" stage and would love to use it!!

ALWAYS the first step. One of my favorite things about LOA is that it has allowed me to buy many, many notebooks!

Armenian Teens.com? How odd.
The 30 Day Challenge really only works if you have Ask and It Is Given... or get us to explain the exercises to you :

FABULOUS! Sounds like a wonderful day. So what color are you going to use on your huge font in about 2 weeks?
P.S. Arduinna, does your user name have anything to do with the Bhagavad Gita? The swami told us a story from it and it involved a guy whose name sounded a lot like yours, I thought of you. Just curious...

actually no. back when I chose this name about 6-7 years ago ( I've used it on other forums too) I chose it because I am of French descent ( along with some other stuff) and it's the name of a Goddess from the Ardeenes forest in France.

Who you are referring to is Arjuna. It's funny because I never made the connection before, of how similar sounding those names are!

Thanks for pointing it out

I'm think I'm going to go with whatever feels right at the time
post #2237 of 2309
Oh, how funny! The swami has a heavy accent so I figured it could go either way

Did I mention that that's the extent of my knowledge of astrology?

Here's the book. This is the book that I found in my local 2nd hand shop one day when I just felt called to go in & look. That day I knew I'd find something & that was it!
