I know most of the moms here are already through the adoption process, but in case anyone here is considering it or is not yet through the process, I thought I'd drop a warning about Reaching Arms International in New Hope, MN. They're currently under investigation by the state attorney general.

My friend is one of the families involved in this and the grief this agency has put them through is horrible. They've been sent pictures of the girl they were supposed to adopt, but when you put the pictures in chronological order you can tell it's not even the same baby. Even the birth certificate she was sent is forged.

: Bullsh!t. What irks me is that my friend has been pounding on the door of the attorney general for months, but they only sat up and took notice when they found out Dateline wanted to do a story on the whole situation. Can't let the state have any bad press, you know.
