Arrival: Home waterbirth VBAC! Drug-free, intervention-free and problem-free! My water broke at 3:44pm, and my cervix dialted from 1 cm to 10 cm in about an hour after I got in the water. Romea torpedoed out quickly and I only have a small tear, though she is 9lbs. It was amazing and I still can't believe I was able to get her head through my vagina!

Arrival: Midwife attended birth at the Puget Sound Birth Center! Worked on getting an anterior cervical lip out of the way for about 2 1/2 hours before pushing for an hour. Placenta took about 1hr 15min to come out, so had to do a few units of saline to get my volume back up. Otherwise we are all doing just fine!

arrival/Comments: Via c-sec due pushy doc who didn't want me to go past 40 weeks. But I was ok with that cause I was so uncomfortable I couldn't be pregnant longer than that. Corbin is nusing like a pro and has put on 2 pounds since coming home. I am recovering well and am very happy to have my little boy. Sissy also loves him and loves to "pet" him since he has a full head of hair.
