Tired of other people's opinions!!

I'm sure part of it is being crabby at the end of pregancy but... I am so tired of people telling me when I should have this baby. I almost blew up at my mom just now because she thinks I should have the baby around the 11th (my dad's bday). She went on to say that I do everything my brother does (my niece's bday is the 8th) so I need to wait until next week. My MIL is even worse she keeps saying that she hopes I go 1 week over due so the baby can be born on her bday. Even strangers that I run into have some opinion on when the baby should come.

Blech! My SIL told me I should go over so the baby is born on her birthday, March 3! All because her due date was the day after dh's. Of course, since my niece was born 12 wks early and is still in the hospital (after 6 months!) I can't really say, well since you didn't keep your promise, I'm not going to do it!

Sorry, not LOL'ing at you, but at the nincompoops who think you have absolutely any control over when you give birth - or even better, that they do.

I would just blow them off. Baby will come when baby comes and there is nothing you or they can really do about it.

LOL! This is exactly how I feel right now. I'm convinced that at this stage in pregnancy we were meant to climb into a cave and not come out till a month after the baby is born. I just don't want to be around anyone.

every time i hear someone say, "Ooooh! You should have a Valentine's Baby!" (like they were the first one's who thought of it ) I should put out my hand and ask for a dollar, for the baby's first savings account. This little pookie'd have their first year of college paid for already!

I have been so cranky with my mom- she calls me like EVERY EIGHT SECONDS all "OMG ARE YOU IN LABOR YET? ARE YOU CRAMPY? MAYBE YOU WILL HAVE THE BABIES TOMORROW! TOMORROW WOULD BE GOOD! HAVE THEM TOMORROW!" yeah, like I have a CHOICE in the matter

My sister told me not to have my baby until the weekend because she had so many plans and wouldn't be able to come for the birth unless it was on a weekend.

My father asks me everyday if I've had the baby... I reckon if he has to ask its likely that I haven't had it!!!! Like are we really going to forget to tell him???

My mother who is staying with me until bub is born told me today that shes glad that she doesn't have to go through what I'm about to. HUH??? When I asked what she meant she said labour. Oh great I'm thinking I'm glad you aren't my support person!!!

My father has NEVER lived alone before and he's stressing out becuase the baby hasn't arrived. PArt of me wants the bub to go two weeks overdue just to annoy him..

I won't call my mother anymore, if I need to tell her something I have DD do it, because everytime she hears my voice on the phone she says "Oh, I thought you were calling to say you had the baby. Are you in labor? Has the baby dropped?" etc. I just can't take it. I'm definitely going into hiding. I hate even going to the store because I run into people I know and everyone keeps saying "Oh, you're still pregnant?"

Why can't anyone see how rude and annoying that is???? The worst part is I'm not even due until the 15th, how bad will it get if I go late?
