TTC 12+ months February - Page 5

Insem complete! No cramping. Timing would probably have been better yesterday evening, but I think I ovulated overnight--lots of O cramping around 10pm. So if the egg lives 12-24, we could be good. Conception could be happening right now. I feel like sitting in the sun a little.

Yeah funnygrace!!!! I was just coming on to see how it went. Three of us in one week.......we should all be crazy soon! Glad everything was good.

What is everyone else up to? I'm not too busy at work so I'm FTD!

Hmmm - I'm a little worried now, I'm still having some (very) mild cramping, and all day yesterday I continued to have cramping. Nothing bad once i got home, more like routine AF cramping though... should I be worried?

Anyway...

Yay! FunnyGrace! That makes 3 of us, which means that odds are good that one of us is pregnant right now! : :

Ity--I'd call your dr. on Monday if you are still cramping. But a bit of activity in there doesn't seem like it has to be bad. It turns out that I had a few mild crampy feelings about 2 hours after. No real pain, but it definitely felt like something.

Yes! I think at least one of us is preg! Nice thought. I figure we knocked out at least 3 to 4 possible barriers to pregnancy with the iui. Of course now there are just... well... nevermind. I'll stay positive. November babies all around!

Hello everyone

Glad to hear that everything is going on well with everyone.

I'm CD1 today. I thank God for the end of this long cycle. Here is me :bouncing to the new cycle.

Wishing and praying for everyone.

Yeah Fola! I'd be sooo relieved after that long cycle too! And congrats to all the recent IUIers - fingers crossed!!

I did it. I called on Monday and got an early morning HSG appointment yesterday... I only took one extra-strength Tylenol, and I think that might have been a mistake (I'm pretty sensitive to meds, so I didn't want to overdo it - forgetting that I'm also really sensitive to pain!). From what I've read of others experiences, there seems to be two responses - those who just get the crampy-pinchy pains (I describe them as moderate cramps - enough I had to breathe through, but they waited until the cramp passed to continue), and then those who get the yelling/screaming/swearing pain. I only had the former for the first half of the test - even got to see the fluid cleanly passing through my left tube, no troubles. Then came the blinding pain (ok, so it was only blinding because I had my eyes screwed shut ) - I yelled. For about 90 seconds. Everyone was very supportive though, and it was over quickly. I took another tylenol and had nothing besides minor menstral-cramp like pain the rest of the day - actually it was weird, because the outside bits didn't hurt at all, and normally they do for me during AF . There's a chance that the pain was actually the contrast fluid clearing out the obstruction in the right tube, but I won't know the results for another week and a half.

I hope, in my need to report, I didn't scare you booja's mom!!!! I certainly don't want to do it again, but it was short, and I don't think it was over-the-top excessive - I just happen to be very sensitive!

Hurray for the November Babes!!!!!!!: : :

fibre_artist - Thanks for the report.. You didn't scare me but I am definately loading up on the tylenol.

to all this weekend.

Wow Fibre - I'm sorry to hear that you had a blockage - and I'm glad to hear it wasn't anything you couldn't handle. How here's a whole mess of Because they say the few cycles following the HSG are very fertile, so GIO lots and lots! :

Booja - I wouldn't worry about the HSG too much, it seems to me that the women who report pain beyond just cramping are those who had blockages. : that you aren't blocked anywhere and that you get really good results.

Funnygrace !!! : a bundle of cells, floating, dividing :

I am excited for all the IUIers ! Expecting a big rush of bfps in the next couple of weeks (from both IUIers and non-IUIers that is)

Ocean--Talk about gio! You've got your bases covered... and your chart looks good.
I only have a sec but OMG Ocean is that accurate? You guys must be exhausted!!!! I hope it does the trick for you.

My friends dh insisted on their last cycle that the DTD 2x/day for five days! I don't think I could manage that!

omg - Ocean is making me feel like a slacker.

laughup : : :nana: : :

You are all cracking me up. The thing is 1.) This is #2 of the precious 3 clomid cycles I have been allowed and 2.) I usually ovulate around day 13-14, and this cycle O was day 18, so each day that went by was like... it's going to happen any time now... this could be that one last precious day before O... and I didn't want to chance it.
Plus we used preseed a couple times here and there, and tried some different positions.
On that last day DH was like, no way, but I said you don't run a marathon only to stop after 25 miles. You run that last mile even if it takes much longer than the first

Today I am 8dpo and DH started up a bit and I said, I guess it takes you a week of rest to recoup from the marathon last week ? We enjoyed our time together, but we have enjoyed the restful time too.

How are you feeling Ity?

Fola sorry about AF

Fibre artist sorry that your HSG was painful. I really hope that you're one of those people who is very fertile in the months following an HSG.

Booja when is your HSG?

Ocean I told my dh about your marathon analogy. He was totally laughing since he is training for a marathon right now! I truly hope that this is your month.

I took a test today and it was BFP. Wait don't get excited or anything, its from the trigger shot. My friend who has been through some fertility treatments recommended an early test to see if the trigger shot was out of my system - apparently not. Now I just have to resist the urge to test daily & see what happens! Has anyone else been nauseous from Clomid? I have been off & on through this cycle but it had been gone for a few days. Tonight its back - I really dread the thought of spending another month like this if I'm not pregnant.

I'm ashamed to say that between the exhausting work on our kitchen and the IUI, we're too tired to gio lately, and I'm really glad we had a perfectly timed IUI, and I'm really hoping it works.

I feel good - My boobs hurt, and I feel kinda pinchy feelings in my tummy, not quite crampy, but... like, I don't notice it unless I have on tight jeans, its like there is a bruise near my uterus. It mostly hurts when one of the cats walks on me in bed - not a constant pain, I'm just... aware of my girly bits.

I've had some nausea - but I don't think its the Clomid - it was mostly the day of and the day after my IUI. Clomid does make me feel all spaced out and medicine-headish though, kinda like I used to feel if I took Sudafed.

For everyone here in this thread... We are SO due for really-really-really good news! : :

Hi, I'm popping in with a quick Q for Ity and lesliesara. I have a fever and don't feel well (see this morning's exciting temp). I also have a sore throat and a raspy cough, and a slight rattle in my lungs. But I'm nervous about PID... I should banish the thought from my mind. I need a little reassurance, if you can give it honestly. Neither of you had antibiotics with your IUI, right? And did you notice the dr. wiping your cervix with a saline swab or anything? I know we had an absolutely sterile catheter and totally washed sperm, but I worry about the cervical mucus over my os. It was a little cloudy/streaked with white, according to reports. The catheter had to go through a little bit of it. I'm sure it is fine, and I am also sure I have a cold that would explain the fever. I'm just a nervous Nelly.

When I'm better, I'll check in with personals. I know we have some test dates coming up soon, and I'm excited.

funnygrace - they didnt' prescribe me anything before or after the IUI, and I don't remember any swabbing, but to be honest, I was just waiting for it to be over.

Hi ladies! Just popping in to let you know that I had a couple + OPK's this weekend. So... I'm officially in the 2WW. Who else is in the 2WW right now?
howdy y'all!
this is going to be a group HI because i feel too overwhelmed to catch up. sounds like i'll catch a lot of you by saying thank goodness the iui's are done and i'm so anxious to hear the results! sounds like a LOT of us are in the tww right now.

since we decided to take a break from med intervention i've been SO relaxed about it all for some reason..i don't even know for sure which cd i'm on!! that's a first in a while for me!

on another note, my best friend since birth called today...her little girl turned one in january....and she's pregnant!! i kept telling myself afterward that i should go ahead and cry...and i didn't even have tears in me! it felt nice to actually be happy for her..i knew they were going to start trying soon. she said her dh will be getting a vasectomy after this one...so i made myself laugh by saying to myself, oh well, when i have mine she'll be jealous that she's not having anymore! hope that's not too mean...but i was surprised they would make that decision so soon! so that makes my sister, foster daughter, best friend, and 2 other close friends all having gotten pregnant and had babies since i've been ttc. depressing, but for some reason i'm not feeling too down right now. weird!!

a few days left in the tww for me..so hazeleyes many of us will have fingers crossed together for a while! i should get af before friday, and we are having a 5 year anniversary party in vegas on friday, so either i'm excited about a bfp and don't drink, or i party up the weekend in a 2000 square foot suite at the Wynn! guess that's as good as anytime to celebrate knowing i have to deal with af! anyways, happy pres. day...being a teacher i enjoyed the day off! good luck to all my fellow tww'ers!
