I take my dd's Calms Forte. It's a children's formula homeopathic that helps with sleeplessness, restlessness, night terrors, etc. It works great on moms! Also, for those nights when I can't sleep due to my brain refusing to shut up!!!!, I take 4 drops of Rescue Remedy under my tongue.
oh god yes! I've been going to bed at 4 or 5 in the morning! I'm lucky because for the most part I don't have to get up in the mornings, so it's not too bad! But I'm deffinitly dealing with the whole insomniac thing! I thought by now I'd be exhausted and sleeping by 8 at night!
I am in the other direction. Can't keep my eyes open much past 8 or 9pm, but I am up way too early in the morning to speak of. I am a morning person, but waiting more than a couple of hours for the sun to rise is pushing it (and it does get up early this side of the world). Then there are the times that I am up in between those hours trying to get back to sleep (a good night that is only twice).
My problem is that I fall asleep at about 8-9, go to bed at 10, and I get up 5-6 times during the night either for a bathroom break, because I need to turn a different way, or because I am getting violently kicked. I never sleep well anymore.
I've given up. Sleep is just not in the cards for me right now! I can't get comfortable no matter how I sit or lie, the heartburn is gonna kill me, and I have to pee like every half hour. I stay up way too late at night, and then wind up sleeping in and leaving poor DD to sit and play by herself in the morning.
