Can I make my own "family cloth"

It seems so spendy.
I dont have a sewing machine.
Anyway to have fun prints, I was even thinking tie dye and make them cheap yourself? Or do I just bite the bullet and pay someone else?

All I did was grab some extra flannel and cut it in wipe sized squares. it frayed a bit but nothing a lil snip wont cure. And the best part- THEY'RE FREE!

Same here. I cut flannel up with pinking shears. It still frays some but not to bad.

In another thread a bunch of Mama's mentioned they had cut up old t-shirts for family cloth and said it worked great...if nothing else theres no freying/sewing then
