YOu know what's been working well for me? Body spray. I got a bottle in my christmas stocking. It's just Bath and Body works brand, something I'd never buy for myself. It's mostly water, alcohol and fragrance with a bit of glycerine and aloe mixed in. It stings if I've just shaved, but otherwise it seems to kill the stinky bacteria. I'm planning to make more out of rubbing alcohol and either lavender/jasmine EO or lilac fragrance oil when it's gone.

I used the Tom's of Maine for years and never really liked it (I use most of their other products). I always thought it smelled gross, but there weren't many other natural/organic options around. About a year or so ago, I found the J/A/S/O/N brand. I'll never look back! That stuff is amazing! I especially love the Tea Tree Oil one.

My Funk Butter arrived a couple days ago and I'm impressed! This stuff really works! It's a bit gritty as the cream turns to powder, but the baking soda and kaolin clay (I think that's what's in it) really does a good job. It has a nice scent too! I got Black Cedar Fig...it smells clean and fresh, not perfumy or flowery.

I also bought some of the Frank Juice, leave in hair conditioner. It's a bit too oily/slick feeling for my super straight, fine, white-girl hair, but for women with thicker or curly or dry hair it'd be just lovely. I use it around the house and at night to keep the static down. The scent is awesome!

I know I love it too, despite the price for my 1/2 filled tub. Coconut oil andhe body crystal also seems to work for me way better than any other one I tried (Tom's of Maine, some sport one at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's generic), but funk butter completely destinks me. :

I also bought Funk Butter after reading this thread and I am a complete convert. This stuff is amazing! I always had to apply deodorant before bed so I didn't have to smell myself while I slept. Now I can apply my FB and it will get me through a full two days if I really need it to (discovered this while we were sick and I didn't get an opportunity for a shower.) That's just awesome!

Plus, I have always had to shave my armpits every day or they itch like crazy. I haven't shaved in nearly a week and not a single itch! Woohoo!

Loving the Funk Butter

I have struggled for years with finding a deodorant that works for my stinky pits... Every "natural" brand and crystal stone that I have tried works for the morning, but by the end of the day I am stinky. I have also tried coconut oil, without success. Funk Butter actually worked the best (no stink at the end of the day), but I broke out in a rash after using it for a few days, Lately I have been using the Trader Joe's Unscented deodorant (the one with cotton for absorbing moisture), and it seems to work a little better than the others I have tried. What also helps is if I wipe my pits down with alcohol (after my shower and before I apply deodorant). I haven't tried Pit Putty yet, but am thinking of ordering it... Anyone here have success with it?

I tried the funk butter, but it broke my underarms the hell out. It was horrible!! After that I went from deodorant to deodorant trying to find something that worked. I finally chanced upon bubble and bee, and this stuff rocks!!!!!

The crystal rock thing is the only thing that works for me. I have gone out in the summer all day, went tanning (, and worked out at the gym for a while and still did not stink.
