Lipstick & lead?

So I just found out that Clinique and many other "high-end" lipsticks contain lead. Unbelievable. I've been using that stuff for years.

Does anyone have any rec's for lipstick that's non-toxic and more natural? I've tried Burts' Bees, but their colors are too bright. I'm more of a deep, earth-tone girl (like brick or raisin.)

Thanks!

I was just going to post that same link. I got the email too and my friend was very upset about it as well. Myth debunked!

Thanks! Relief!!

You know... I'd still be interested in a more natural lipstick though, if one exists.

I mix two Burts Bees colors together and it works, otherwise they are too bright for me too.

I just bought Burt's Bees "Watermelon" and I can hardly see the color on my lips (and I have a pale complextion).
