circ/non-circ boys in same family

Not sure if this is the right place to post this ~ but it is a parenting issue

I know this is a sensitive subject ~


My oldest 2 boys were both hospital births and circ (due to not knowing better ;^) ) ~ my question is in regards to the baby we are expecting. Does anyone have boys that are both circ and non-circ??? We are back and forth on this subject since neither of us want to have another son put through that ~ yet we don't want to have issues w/ our other boys. Does this make sense......my hubby asked if the boys would wonder why their brother was "special" and why we allowed it to be done to them.

Anyways ~ I am wondering if anyone has done both and what your exeperince has been with questions that the older boys may have.

You should repost this in "The Case Against Circumcision" part of the forums. The mamas there have lots of experience with this sort of thing and can give you some great advice!

For what it's worth (I don't have a boy yet), I have read about many parents with both circed and uncirced boys and the best explanation I have heard is "When we allowed it to be done to you, people thought it was necessary, but now we know it isn't."

thanks ~ i did go ahead and post this on the other board!! BTW ~ thanks for your advice, it's very straight forward since it is the truth (my oldest is 9 and we did think it was the best at the time).
