Prayers needed...

Baby and I are both totally fine, but I needed to have extremely minor surgery today - in the docs office. Don't really want to go into details on a public board, but needless to say I am VERY uncomfortable right now since the anesthetic has worn off. I did just take some Percocet though so hopefully that will take the edge off.

I also really want the baby to stay put for a couple of days while I recover. Going into labor right now would absolutely not be fun, and may even ruin my homebirth/waterbirth plans...

I am so very sorry, and I hope you are feeling better. Prayers and good thoughts going out to you for quick healing and some "baby in" vibes!! I hope it all works out!! It certainly is stress you don't need!!

Much better today, thank you for asking. The first night was horrid and yesterday was pretty bad as well - much worse than I was expecting, and I spent most of it drugged out. But slept pretty well last night, and felt much better this morning. Still not 100% obviously, but would probably be fine if I went into labor now.

But I would much rather go through labor than that again anyday!

just read this, but praying retroactively for you. hope you get a few more days to rest before baby arrives.
