Okay LoA friends,
I had $1,000 to spend today and I am inviting EVERYONE to my house for snacks, drinks and readings for everyone by that very very cool astrologer Grandmother Moon!

(I posted some of her horoscopes and affirmations in the Feb LoA thread the other day.)

What a great way to spend it!

Okay. Remember on day 1 when I bought myself a massage and free food?

Today I woke up and my back really hurt, so I called my chiro and asked to come in today. They said sure, and something about customer appreciation, and if we bring in items to donate, we get free adjustments. Our insurance actually covers us 100%, but in the spirit of giving, we went and got some shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and TP for donation and went in. It turned out that it was in celebration of their 20th anniversary and they had a table of food AND free adjustments.

We snacked and got our adjustments and as we were about to leave, my chiro says, "Hey, you know they're doing free chair massages in the PT room."

!!!

I got a free chair massage, of course, AND they had a $20 discount on the next table massage, so DH and I both scheduled those.

So: Day 1 in the game I gought a massage and sushi.

Today I got a free chair massage and free food (Not sushi, but still yummy)!

And we have full body massages scheduled soon.

Ok, my first day......A maid comes to my house and cleans it using Earth-friendly products, of course. My bf is happy that "I" cleaned house. I am thrilled. I *love* it already....

Can you post your experiences playing the game? Today I found I was just stumped. I mean, it's only $1000, right? How hard would it be to spend $1000? But I was completely stumped! I find that the more the value increases, the more difficult time I am having thinking of things I would like to have - even services. How odd is that? Or is it common? Is anyone else having this experience? I love it, though, because it is REALY challenging me to think outside my box and REACH for things I would want to have. And then I realize that yes, I really would like to have those things, and it would feel GOOD to have them.

My example from today: After having the game window open all day and having only come up with my immediate thought of having the cats vaxed and examined for Canada (all 4 of them need this and I thought they wouldn't because we were up to date, but as it turns out, they expire in FOUR days, less than two weeks before we move. Irony?). So that took only $300. What to do with the other $700?

All day I thought and drew blanks.

Then all of a sudden I remembered that I've always wanted one of those cat perches that looks like a real tree, only I've always thought about it as being an incredibly frivolous purchase. But I would LOVE to have one. LOVE to! I was even seeing how beautiful it will look in our new living room - a lovely faux tree right next to the sliding patio doors in our living room - our cats would like it and it would be great Feng Shui, because it is beautiful!

And the third item was easy after that - I'd love my own iPod so I wouldn't have to borrow DH's all the time and he would have it whenever he wanted it.

I already know what I'm getting tomorrow! My old worn out ghetto tattoo recovered and added to and iPod accessories!

Actually, I am having a very strange problem of my own. I am having a difficulty playing it as well, but that's because I keep finding things I want that are more than the alloted amount.

For example, I would really like to have some good, high quality desks for my office. But that's around $3,000, not $1,500!

I'd love to renovate my kitchen, but that's thousands and thousands of dollars, too...

I could easily go into like, Joanne's Fabrics and crafts and spend $1,500 in a heartbeat, but trying to do it in THIS manner makes it hard.

Make any sense, or am I off my burger bun? :

I read your post earlier and thought, yeah, I can relate because I couldn't think of anything either! But then I remembered that I did come up with a great idea last night and do you know now I've forgotten!

I thought for sure I'd remember by now but I can't! And it was a good one too!

I've been posting about how I don't really have money issues, but you know what? Maybe I do!

My problem is that IRL I'm really frugal. So when I think of things to buy with my *virtual money*, I'm like, but I could probably find that for less money somewhere else. . . .

I have 2,500 . . .

Okay! I know! I'm going to self publish my children's book and hire a marketer! How's that?

Oh, and yesterday I spent my $ on a Valentine *outfit* for dh, a fancy hotel room, room service and overnight babysitter.

Me too! I'm having trouble with the smaller amounts but on my "want list" my things are a new vehicle, a trip to Ireland, ummmm.... I forget the rest now.

I'm in I actually signed up last night and had $100. I spent it on two pair of new balance slides that I love. I have a worn out pair that I'm still wearing. I had them on my Christmas list, but when DH went to find them they were out of my size.

Today was $250. I spent it on a red ipod nano and some itunes. I love music. DH has an ipod and I have wanted one of my own.

I'm having trouble with the smaller amounts, too. I think I'm on Day 7 which is up to $3,000. I've been giving money to some of my favorite charitable causes, as well as spending on more frivolous items. I could make my mortgage/credit card/HELOC payment for the month, but that doesn't raise my vibration very much, it just reminds me of the debt, KWIM?

I also have problems with the smaller amounts!! I think maybe that's because that's in the range of money that already goes in and out (quickly) of my bank account, so I don't do too much thinking about that.
