I liked Advantage Lang too.
Advantage Language wasn't a problem for me.

I have been such a sloth about doing trials. Or maybe sloth isn't the word. I think I'm a little aprehensive about doing them lately because my credit cards are racking up the fees and I haven't had a big payout (my fault- cashing out incorrectly and/or not turning in w-9 in time). Once I get caught up, I'll probably be a little more motivated. My visa card from a DIY site is on the way, but it will be another couple of weeks before I see that.

Hope everyone else is making a lot of moolah.

ANyone else had reversals at DBP lately? I've had 2 in the last day... I've never had one in the 6+ months I've been doing this....

I had a freebie reversed. The advertiser, more than likely, pulled out and refused to pay. It happens sometimes. I've had a lot of referral earnings reversed too. Not high amounts but a lot of them.

I'm burnin' it up over at monster though. They added some awesome new trials.

I've had referrals offers that reversed, resulting in my losing that referral money. One poor referral lost a LOT of money, I'm sure, b/c I lost about $3 from him/her and they were a 2nd or 3rd level referral (can't remember now what they were for sure)....that means I only lost 2-4% of their total. It was all winning surveys and consumer expression surveys.

Just today, I've also had some denials come in on some long pending freebies. One was a winning survey, which I expected to be denied.

I'm brand new at this : and was wondering if anyone had a good list of survey sites that they belong to. For this first month I'm going to do freebies until I make enough to get a prepaid card but would also like to sign up at the GOOD survey sites...anyone?

Also, has anyone put together an Excel spreadsheet to track their trials, freebies, etc? I'd love a copy if someone would like to share! :

Another question, when I was reading the MILLIONS of posts in previous threads, there was some discussion about using a separate browser for your regular internet activity, and your GPT activity...is the only advantage to this that you wouldn't be losing all your cookies every time you did an offer? Please explain if this is really necessary...I currently use Safari as I am a total Mac nerd!

A nice surprise!

I opened the mail to find 2 $10 gas cards and a $10 Barnes & Noble card today!

I never really believe that these ad sites will really give me anything so these were a nice surprise.

I like my new job...

Click on, ladies, click on!!

I was just getting curious about this, do any of you mamas that do this have other "jobs"? Or is this your only source of extra income? Do you think the time you put in is worth it? I was thinking that if I can make an extra 500 bucks a month, like some other mamas, it would be worth it Because it would be 500 bucks free and clear right? We don't have to report these earnings to the IRS? Or do we as a source of income?

: Free money? You have to use the W9 the GPT's will send you in January, if you make more than $600. ($400 from some sites.) THat's per site.

I made $436 last month. After what paying for trials cost me. THis month, I've made a little over $400 so far, and $100 more that just hasn't credited yet. Up tto a hundred of that is going to be money I paid out.
I plan to make $500 this month, after costs.

AND! I'm getting a set of recipes and knives I really thought looked good, and I got 3 CD's for free from BMG. My dd's were so excited to get a gift for no reason! ("Free"= 8.37 and I got paid $18.50)
I need to find a new car insurance company, and DH needs a replacement vehicle, so I'll be shopping for loans.

My last 'real' job, I worked 35 hours a week, @11.00 an hour, not bad for the area and my lack of education. I owund up taking home about $250 a week, cause I always had one kid sick one day, a snow day another, the kids play or a teacher conference to go to. I spent $250 a week on food.

Now I'm spending $125 a week for food and making at least that much more. I can do this in the evening, with a glass of wine in my PJ's, while watching tv! I have plenty of time to cook and spend with the kids.

yeah...I see now why your laughing, Somewhere where I was getting info this evening I saw about the w9's when you make more then $600. Well a girl can dream can't she?

I have a craft biz but have done little with it since I started doing gpt's. I still take custom orders but have not advertised in over a year. I am getting ready to finish up my website.(have been using an online gallery and having customers email me their orders) I do miss crafting more but making money through gpt sites is just so easy.

yeah! I'm ready to get started! I spoke to dh and he said "Great! Try it!" So if I am correct, I need to first get a gmail account, a internet phone number and get a prepaid credit card/gift card correct? I'm off to get started, but first, can someone send me a gmail invite? Thanks!

editing to add: what website do I go to to get a free online phone number? Thanks!

I am just starting a Word document for trials you guys are saying are bad ones, so THANKS for all the wisdom! I'm being very slow to start trials. I've made about $200 from freebies, and last month cashed out with a Visa card from DBP. So I'm waiting for that to arrive before I do any trials. It was the principal of not wanting to use any cash out-of-pocket, ya know?

Question: How can I go from site to site, just doing freebies, without repeating any?? Should I be keeping track of the freebies I do? Or do most of you who participate on several sites, just do trials?

PP who said the DBP are crediting very well, mine are too. I think they changed something in their site... like weeded out alot of the non-crediting ones. I also got my first reversal (it was a $5 one from a mortgage company I think), so that was a bummer. But oh well, lose some, win most
post #56 of 90
ok, I've set up my gmail and phone number. I will be looking for a prepaid card. In the meantime, I can now go and start doing freebies since I don't need to pay anything right? Or am I forgetting something? Thanks!

quick question mamas! I have a laptop and a desk computer in my home. Do i need to decide which one I want to use and then only use that one? I'm pretty sure that I need to only log on from one computer into my gpt accounts, correct?
