We have a set of Legos with all sorts of little parts. We dumped it out on the floor today, and as I was picking through the pieces, I noticed a very tiny (small enough to be held by a little Lego guy) black machine gun... it had a big body and a small barrel.
Huh, I thought to myself. Well, DD is only 2, and she has no idea what a gun is, so I just kind of put it aside. I'm not planning to buy her guns for toys, but I figured this wasn't something to worry about this second.
Next thing I know... it's her favorite toy. And you know why?
She's picking it up and talking into it... like a phone! LOL! She thinks the body of the gun is the handset and the barrel is the antenna. She has a long, involved imaginary conversation with her grandparents on it, then happily hangs up.
I guess I don't need to worry about getting rid of this gun just yet.
