we're looking for containers to put our fruits and veggies in that will extend their life. i know of the baggy type but are there tuberware type containers? we hate plastic, though. yes, we're just too picky.
It really depends on the fruit or veggie. Are there any in particular you are concerned with?
not so much carrots or celery because we use those quickly as with apples and oranges but for berries and especially salad makings (romaine hearts, spinach, etc etc), tomatoes, bell peppers, broccoli and cauliflower, etc etc.
Really, the best thing I've found so far are those Evert-fresh bags. I bought a set of reusable grocery bags and it came with a package of the bags. I LOVE them! I never would have believed them to work if I hadn't used them myself.
