Between losing your mucous plug and giving birth? This pregnancy, last pregnancy, any pregnancy at all. TELL ME.

It's been 5 days for me (I know I lost my whole plug... TMI but it was like a frigging GOLF BALL!) and I still have nothing but the annoying, slightly painful contractions I started off with. At last check, on Friday, I was 3cm/50% effaced. I'm bored and just figured I'd ask, I'm already well aware that I will be pregnant forever and ever and ever

In other news, we spent 2 hours today driving in circles over an extremely bumpy gravel road- this is what worked to get things going with DD (who was born, incidentally, 5 days after I lost my mucous plug.) 2 hours of bouncing around in my husband's SUV (with its horrible suspension, the thing rides like a boat in choppy water!) did nothing but make me nauseous and my butt sore. I also walked around the mall and sat in one of those Shiatsu massage chairs that basically beats the crap out of your back (which felt nice, but didn't put me into labor, haha!) These kids are stubborn!

I lost mine almost 3 weeks ago! It was like a big and pink/red glob of snot... so I have no idea what else it could have been. I am still huge with child, however. I think he was gearing up to come early when things were more stressful a few weeks ago, but now that I have settled down and started taking care of myself better, he is thinking that it isn't so bad living in my uterus! When I lost it everyone was saying that I had the "I'm about to go into labor" look. My mw says that the look has disappeared now. So I will probably be sitting around for a couple more weeks.
