Top baby items under $20?

okay my thrifty august mamas, your info has been invaluable so far. so here's another question for you to think about...

what's your favorite baby item (clothes, gear, anything) that is $20 or less?

This is a hard one...but mine is dd's sophie giraffe. It is right at $20, but IMO it is worth every penny! And I am totally cheap...really the only new clothes or toys for her come from relatives. The WAHM mei tai I got on FSOT of thebabywearer.com. Exactly $20, including shipping. It's contoured and sturdy with minkee padding, and it's wonderful. Or the Ellaroo Blue Orient Ring Sling I got used for $20. Definitely a used carrier.

As far as stores go, though, i'd say leather Robeez-style shoes at Target. I love those shoes!

$3.99 Gymboree winter hat off eBay (bought this back in 2002 for Ryan)
$.99 Little Tikes hammer (I bought it at Toys R' Us, but it's the one on the right); Nate loves to bang it and chew on it...although sometimes he hammers himself instead.
$5.99 stacking cups & penguin from the supermarket in 2002 that we use in the bath (don't have time to dig up a photo right now).

I think our First Years booster seat for the dining room was $19.99.
Honestly there are very very few items for all 3 boys that cost MORE than $20. The crib/mattress, crib sheets, Bjorn, Kelty backpack, playyard/gates & lots of clothes & toys were all hand-me-downs from nannying. Only as they've gotten above size 4 for clothes (especially pants & sneakers) and needed beds have we had to spend anything significant.
I think carseats are the big ticket items.

$5.99 Rock a Stack By Fisher Price. Found the last one at our local BRU. Its a classic plastic ring stacker. DD likes to chew on the rings, and clang them together.

I LOVE our sophie...maybe more than the kids do!

Mine would have to be a pack of disposable baby wipes (in the envelope type container, not the hard plastic one). Charlie could play with one of those for hours, crinkling the wrapping, tossing it around. LOVE it.
