Just got home from the hospital -- our daughter, Shayna Madeline, was born on Tuesday morning at 6:58 AM, weighing in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches long with a full head of long, dark hair. I can't wait to share my birth story -- here are the cliff notes: labor started at 11PM, arrived at hospital at 6AM. Unbeknownst to me I was fully dialated and ready to push. Pushed for 20 minutes and she was born at 6:58AM. I'm still in shock and can't believe how it all went down. Will share more later. Best wishes to all the moms who are still awaiting their arrivals and congrats to those who have birthed in the last couple of days.
