Will is just #1, so I put 4 more. We definitely want more, but it's really in the "we'll take what we get" category.

We don't use any birth control, don't plan to. I had to use Vitex to regulate my cycles to get pregnant, and if I'm not pregnant when he's 15-16 months old, I'll start using it again.

Now that I just found out my birth daughter has special needs as well, I will never have biological kids again. The state has offered to tie my tubes for me more than once, I may just do that sometime in the next year or so. Should I ever get married again, I'd really like to adopt an older child or two. But this is talking many years from now.

I voted that I'd take what I could get. That's because dh is done, but I am absolutely NOT DONE. I would love to have another biological child AND adopt. We do plan on fostering in the future though.

Please research this surgery before you get it done. Your hormones will be affected. There are other methods of birth control that are far less invasive.

Hi Melaya, I'm so sorry to read that your birth daughter has special needs You sound like such a responsible person- hats off to you for deciding not to have anymore bio kids

Thanks. I may never do it considering that I'm an emetaphobic, and we rarely volunteer ourselves for things like surgery. However, I have proven to myself time and time again that I am too fertile and just not responsible enough to depend on natural or other methods to control my fertility. I have now gotten pregnant once on bcp's, once while on the shot, and twice while using condoms. The surgery scares me less than a lifetime of bcp or most of the other options out there. This is way off topic though. But thanks for thinking of me and giving me the heads up.
