I know, it freaks me out to think about all my mom had accomplished in her life by the time she was my age. She also started much earlier -- married at 19, first baby at 20, etc., but still. I feel like I'm just starting out, and she was well-established in her career and had two school-age kids by now! I think there are definite advantages to waiting (finishing school without the added stress of caring for little ones, etc.), but there are also great things about starting early -- she was done raising us by age 40!!
