I took #2 and #3 out to Wendy's a few weeks back. They asked me what year I was born and #2 (5) decided in was 1934! I said "Noah, only person in our family who was alive in 1934 was Uncle Don who was born that year and your great Grandma Gigi who was 13."

Maybe they were just being funny since I am 34? :-P Funny thing is, I can remember when my mom and dad were 32 and 33. (Or was it 33 and 34?) Gosh- my parents bought the big house we lived in when they were 34! ACK! Talk about behind in the house thing... (Never owned a house.) That was their fourth house or something. Anyway...

I know, it freaks me out to think about all my mom had accomplished in her life by the time she was my age. She also started much earlier -- married at 19, first baby at 20, etc., but still. I feel like I'm just starting out, and she was well-established in her career and had two school-age kids by now! I think there are definite advantages to waiting (finishing school without the added stress of caring for little ones, etc.), but there are also great things about starting early -- she was done raising us by age 40!!

Aw, that's cute. I asked Ani the other day, "How old are you?" She said "I TWO!" I said, "How old do you think mama is?" She said "THREE!!"

When my baby brother was around that age, he would go up to people and say "I'm 2, my mom is 30, how old are you?" He's 30 now and we still haven't completely let him live down all the funny things he said as a preschooler.

Yup, DD always says that she is two, mommy is 36, daddy is 38, and morgan (the cat) is 6.

Although she accidentally said that daddy was 78 the other day. :
