you are bawling over Anna Nicole Smith's death today! :

who's next?

Whoa. I don't have a TV, so I probably wouldn't have known until it hits the cover of People mag at the grocery checkout... What happened? OD? I wonder what will happen to her poor little baby girl.

It's so sad. despite the money and fame she really has had a very difficult life.

i guess her death hit home for me, thinking, if i died in year, i'd be leaving behind a little one about the same age as her little girl...

I agree

They had a big screen TV on CNN at my doc's office yesterday -- and while I agree, it is sooo sad for that baby (even though I was no fan, I'm not so cold that I don't think of the baby!), that's all CNN talked about for over 40 minutes. They talked to anyone and everyone, a girl who saw the ambulance pull up, Larry King, speculation on cause of death, had some guy describing what paramedics would do in such a situation (NOT what the paramedics who treated her did, it was totally hypothetical) -- it just makes it that much more tragic that it has become a media circus.

Okay you know you're pregnant when you realize your Tivo didn't catch Grey's Anatomy and you are about to break the thing! SOOO MAD! Off to download!

When you spend 10 minutes bawling in the shower trying to decide if you should go pick up food in the day, or go in the evening with dh...

And later on, when you've decided to go in the eve, and you wonder if you should just ask dh to go on his own so you can get the kids to bed on time, you worry that if he drives on his own, he won't be as carefull as he would if you were with him, and get into an accident on the highway, and get all worked up and bawling because it would be your fault for sending him alone, and how would you visit him in the hospital because the car seats were in the van....

When your appetite is bigger than your dh's... and I don't mean just for food. :

Omigosh!! Now I worry like crazy that something is going to happen to dh and that me and the baby are going to be left alone. Crazy crazy thoughts!!!

You know your pg when...you don't have any appetite at all (and I don't mean just for food either)

Wow...I'm glad I'm not the only one...my emotions lately have been out of control...so weepy!! I did the same thing when my husband was needing to go back into work late the other night...I began to panic and then the tears came. Oh goodness, it's a good thing he loves me and he know that this will pass

Amen to that! My poor dh. I told him to think back on when we were ttc and how much fun that was.
Birsen, I do that when I'm not pregnant. I've already figured out how long we can live off dh's life insurance

you know you're pregnant when you call your dh at work just to let him know you're mad because he took the leftovers of chinese chicken and rice that you had prepared the exact way you like it. You even put it under his but he took it because it looked like it had more And that was the point! then you're bitter about it the whole rest of the night and you make sure he knows about it!

By the way I feel horrible for Anna Nicole's baby. But when I watched the national news last night the guy said "you know we're a celebrity obsessed country when all the cable news stations stay on a celebrity death in breaking news all afternoon." It is kind of weird, when there are a lot of other things going on in the world.

Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who cries over crazy "what-ifs" -- I almost didn't post that because it seemed so silly.

mommy-X-2 -- Sorry about that table.

You know you're pg when you've eaten two English muffins with egg-tuna- salad filling with cheese (toasted in the toaster oven), a pickle, and a small bowl of m&ms.

you know you're pregnant when.....your nursing toddler hops from one breast to the other every five seconds because he's hopeful that the other side replenished itself in the moments he was on its neighboring side....:
