Yaayyy!! I've been checking sporadically but didn't hear 'till just now! Congrats on your baby girl! She's the exact same size as Iris was (maybe an inch longer) and I birthed her in the same position. I'm so glad you finally have your girl! (And pssst...after you get settled in your new place I have something for you...PM me your new address! )

Oh my gosh everyone, I am just so overwhelmed at all the love and support I've gotten here. My little girl is just incredibly sweet and her big brothers are all madly in love with her. My DP is off work until the 26th so I have quite a bit of time to recover from it all before I need to figure out our new normal. For now, I'm thankful that I'm able to lie on the couch nursing my little darling all day.
I'm starting to regain a tiny bit of color after all the blood loss. I definitely do not feel great but a short walk to the bathroom doesn't leave me panting and laying on the floor like it did the first day. I had my first shower and did not faint, which was amazing. Poor DP was right outside the bathroom door with the baby, asking every 30 seconds if I was okay.
I'm not up to driving yet but once I am, I have two rolls of film to develop and put on a CD and I promise I will post them when I am able. Her pretty little face was a bit swollen at first but now that it's going down you can clearly see she looks quite a bit like her daddy.
Okay, that's about all the sitting upright I have the energy for now. Love to you all!

I had no clue how hard the recovery time after my birth would be since my first was in a hospital.
Take your time mama and rest up!
I am so excited to see pics and hear more. You did so good.
