My water broke last night

It broke last night around 11 pm and still nothing. No contractions or anything. This has never happened to me before and I'm really losing my mind.

I had a leak last time that was treated as if my water was broken. I know the feeling of anxiously waiting for contractions...try as hard as you can to relax and do your normal thing. Remember, this time *is* the beginning--you will be holding your baby soon!

Oh, how exciting but nerve wrecking at the same time. My 2 previous labors before this one started with my water breaking followed by a lull before contractions began. I understand that antsy feeling of just waiting around for something to happen.

I'll be praying that contractions kick in soon, if they haven't already, and that you'll have a wonderful, healthy labor and birth. It won't be long till you're holding your sweet little girl. Can't wait to hear how it all unfolds!

Still waiting, LOL. I think I'm really stressed out now and causing myself to not be in labor. Baby is also posterior so that doesn't help. Dh just took the kids to my mom's house for a while so I'm hoping that will help.

Go have a snack and a nap, rest while you can.

My water broke with dd at 1am Sunday, the next day at 1pm I had a prenatal (42 weeks) and was still not having ctx.. my body just needed some time to figure it out - she was born on Tues, it just took some time!

I'm so tired and frustrated right now. This is torture. I don't have a breast pump.

You don't need a breastpump, just put your nipple between your thumb and finger and gently roll it back and forth for a bit and then switch sides.

Hope it starts up soon for you, the waiting is agony I know!

you need to go to labor and delivery,if nothing happens by 11 tonight.
after that risk of infection to you and the baby are highly probabale.
they will enduce labor at that points to ensure both of your safety.
i have 5 kids,and alot of practice in that field.lol
if they don't then you need a new doc,kwim?
